Behind the Name

The name “Librium” is rooted in the concept of equilibrium - the idea that complex systems perform best when forces are balanced, assumptions are tested, and decisions are grounded in evidence. Naming the company Librium reflects our belief that infrastructure and capital investments require balance: between risk and return, public objectives and private capital, near-term constraints and long-term value.

Our name also reflects our scientific foundations. Librium Group was originally founded by Ryan Daly, a former chemistry major who went on to build a career in infrastructure finance and strategy. That background informs how we approach complex problems: by forming hypotheses, testing assumptions, validating data, and refining solutions.

Meet Our Principals

Megan Schroeder

Librium Group’s CEO, brings more than 15 years of experience advising complex infrastructure, energy, and real estate initiatives across government and industry. Megan’s work sits at the intersection of public-sector priorities and private-sector execution. She has led and supported large-scale infrastructure and resilience programs that have driven over $1.3 billion in private-sector investment and supported the development of more than 430 MW of energy capacity across the United States and overseas.

Her experience spans public–private partnership strategy, transaction advisory, resilience planning, and infrastructure optimization, with a particular focus on energy, real estate, and mission-critical assets. Megan has supported more than 20 complex projects both CONUS and OCONUS, delivering solutions that balance financial viability, operational performance, and long-term resiliency. Her recent experience includes advising real estate strategy for a major public sector organization, Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) programs, and third-party financing solutions to address critical infrastructure gaps.

Megan began her career as a Naval Officer, where she led logistics and supply chain operations supporting global missions. That experience continues to inform her disciplined, data-driven approach to risk, decision-making, and leadership. Megan’s background enables her to bridge policy, capital markets, and execution, helping clients navigate complexity and deliver durable infrastructure outcomes.

Ryan Daly

Librium Group’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer, brings more than a decade of experience advising complex infrastructure, energy, and technology investments across public and private markets in over a dozen countries. Ryan’s work focuses on helping clients navigate high-stakes infrastructure and energy decisions through rigorous analysis, capital structuring, and strategic problem solving. His experience spans power sector resilience, utility performance, clean energy deployment, and the commercialization of emerging technologies – often at the intersection of government priorities and private capital.

Notably, Ryan has led valuation and financial structuring efforts for major energy infrastructure developments, including transactions exceeding $800 million, and has supported energy and utility portfolios representing more than 430 MW of capacity across multiple technologies. Internationally, Ryan has advised utilities and governments on power sector reform, renewable energy investment strategy, and infrastructure commercialization, including work that supported multi-billion-dollar investment outcomes in emerging markets.

Ryan’s analytical foundation is rooted in science and finance. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and an MBA with honors, with a focus on finance and entrepreneurship. He is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). As the original founder of Librium Group, his background informs the company’s disciplined, evidence-driven approach to infrastructure strategy and capital decision-making.

Alex Dixon

Alex Dixon is a Manager at Librium Group and a nuclear engineer, MBA, and technical program leader with experience spanning naval nuclear operations, federal energy-resilience advisory, and large-scale infrastructure and technology programs. He brings a combination of operational leadership, financial analysis, and execution planning experience across mission-critical assets. His background includes leading energy and infrastructure initiatives for public-sector clients, managing complex, multi-year capital programs, and supporting strategic decision-making through rigorous data and financial analysis. Alex also previously served as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Kathryn Bennet

Kathryn Bennett is a Manager at Librium Group who brings several years of experience supporting federal and energy-sector clients, with a background spanning program management, renewable energy reform, and strategic communications. Her work includes supporting complex real estate, energy, and infrastructure initiatives for federal clients, with a focus on acquisition support, industry engagement, and stakeholder coordination. She has experience overseeing a multidisciplinary team, leading client communications, and supporting the successful delivery of high-visibility infrastructure and real estate initiatives.

Maddy Wendell

Maddy Wendell is a Manager at Librium Group with extensive experience supporting energy, resilience, and infrastructure initiatives for major federal clients. Her work focuses on advancing complex energy projects across large land portfolios, coordinating stakeholders, and translating technical, regulatory, and financial considerations into clear decision support for senior leadership. She has supported energy and infrastructure projects spanning tens of thousands of acres, led recurring engagements between government and industry partners, and produced procedural guidance to advance mission-critical investments.
